There’s a new scam circulating regarding speed camera tickets.
The provincial government says scammers are sending fake links about the speeding tickets.
Government says it would never deliver such notices or information via text. It would only go through the mail.
Anyone who receives a text along those lines is asked not to click the link but to block the number and report the message to the police or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
