A Newfoundland and Labrador athlete will be representing the country next month at the 2025 Summer Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan.
According to the NL Volleyball Association, Falon McLoughlan is the only athlete from this province competing, and she is also the youngest girl on the team.
More than 80 countries are heading to Japan next month for the event, which takes place from November 15th to the 26th.
