A 19-year-old man is facing a slew of charges after an incident involving a weapon at a business on Kenmount Road yesterday evening.

Police rushed to the business just before 7 p.m. as the man was running away from the scene.

Another officer spotted the man at another business just down the road and chased after him.

He was arrested and charged with careless use of a firearm, pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault with a weapon and breach of release order.

He was held for court.
