Vandalism Causes Power Outage on Bonavista Peninsula

Vandals have knocked out the power for over 1,800 customers on the Bonavista Peninsula.

The power went just after 2:00 this morning.

Newfoundland Power has determined the cause of the outage is related to vandalism.

Crews are currently working to get customers back online with the restoration time expected to be around noon.
