A man faces a slew of charges after an incident at a residence in Mount Pearl in the wee hours.

Police say one person who lived in the home was assaulting another, who also lived there.

The 36-year-old was charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and uttering threats.

The suspect also had an outstanding warrant against him.
