A man and woman have been charged with robbery following an incident at a business in St. John’s yesterday.
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary were called to a centre city business just after 1:30 yesterday afternoon.
A short time later, police located two suspects: A 30-year-old woman, who was arrested without incident, and a 42-year-old man, who the RNC say put up a fight before he was apprehended.
Now, the man is charged with robbery, resisting arrest, breach of a release order and breach of probation.
The woman, meanwhile, has been charged with robbery and breach of a release order.
