A 51-year-old woman’s attempt to get her impounded vehicle back resulted in her getting arrested in St. John’s yesterday.

The RNC were called to the police impound yard around 4:30 p.m. following reports that a wanted woman had shown up looking to retrieve her vehicle.

The woman was arrested without incident and brought to the city lockup.
