The federal government is providing PictureNL – the province’s film and television industry organization – with funding to help celebrate a major milestone.
The local industry recently marked $1 billion in production activity.
Federal minister Joanne Thompson says Ottawa is providing PictureNL with just under $300,000 to boost international business development.
Thompson made the announcement on behalf of Sean Fraser, the minister responsible for ACOA.
