A 27-year-old man wanted on numerous serious charges was arrested by metro police yesterday afternoon.

RNC pulled a vehicle over in the west end of St. John’s, only to find that one of the people inside was wanted on seven open warrants.

Some of those summonses include assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, uttering threats, endangering an animal, armed robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and using a firearm in the commission of an offence.

The man was arrested and will appear in court later this morning.
