Tentative agreements have been reached between Canada Post and its two postal bargaining units.
The National Executive Board has voted to accept the tentative agreements and is recommending that its members vote in favour.
The tentative deals include higher wages with protection against inflation, improved benefits, and protection for 393 corporate retail counters.
The tentative deals provide an extra year of stability, and won’t expire until the end of January of 2029.
Ratification votes will be held in the new year, and there will be no strike or lockout activities during the ratification process.
