More details on how government plans to reduce its reliance on travel nurses is expected early in the new year.
That’s according to Premier Tony Wakeham, who says government has been working with the Registered Nurses’ Union on that issue.
He says he has been personally working with the RNU on how they can put together a plan to address some of those challengers. “I think you will hear that one very early in 2026.”
