The NLTA wants to see the new PC administration maintain funding promised by the former Liberal government to add more staff to the K-12 system .
In the 2025 budget, the government of the day allocated $20-million to add more resources to the system.
That number was to grow to $44-million by next year, with the ultimate goal of adding 400 more educational resources to the K-12 system.
President Dale Lambe is calling on the PCs to maintain that commitment because that would result in smaller class sizes, and ultimate better conditions for all in the classroom.
