All three men charged with first-degree murder in the killing of a St. John’s man just before Christmas made appearances in provincial court on Wednesday.
Forty-two-year-old Darryl Little, 28-year-old Peter Campbell and 47-year-old Doug Yetman each appeared on video from HMP one after the other, for updates on their case.
They are each charged with the murder of a 41-year-old man on December 21st in a house that borders Empire Avenue and Winchester Street. Police have not identified the victim nor said how he died, though each suspect is facing gun-related charges.

Campbell and Little were arrested without incident but Yetman reportedly tried to harm himself and was hospitalized for about two weeks before also being transferred to HMP.
Court was told yesterday that while formal requests were made for disclosure on Jan. 7th, the information has yet to be provided by the Crown since they’ve yet to receive everything from police, who are continuing to investigate and gather evidence.
Crown and defence lawyers are also working to streamline the process by hearing previous charges alongside the current allegations.
An update on the transfer of evidence from the Crown to the defence is expected when the case is next called on February 18th.
