The hockey arena in Stephenville is being offered up to teams from Port aux Basques following serious wind damage caused to the Bruce II arena.

The Stephenville Dome is making room for two teams from the Port aux Basques Minor Hockey Association to allow them to go ahead with a tournament scheduled for this weekend.

The Stephenville Lightning are providing the young players with tickets for Saturday’s game, and the opportunity to cheer on their favourite players from the Lightning and the Red Wings.
