The provincial and federal governments have extended the deadline for farmers to apply for extra support due to drought conditions faced in 2025.
The final deadline for the 2025 AgriStability Program is now September 30th.
They argue that the new timeline well help ensure producers, such as fruit and veggie growers, can access support for the problems faced last year.
