The transportation system is back to normal after a day of mayhem in which nobody could get beyond eastern Newfoundland because of a serious motor vehicle collision.
The crash occurred around 8:00 in the morning, resulting in the closure of the TCH for much of the day.
The highway partially reopened at about 4:00 in the afternoon, and is now fully functional.
RCMP have not released any details on the crash itself.
