The RCMP are investigating after a brand new snowmobile was taken from Coastal Outdoors in Clarenville.
According to police, video surveillance captures two suspects walking in front of the building around 2 a.m. on February 1st, before entering the back lot and uncrating a new snowmobile.
One person fled on the machine while the other left on foot. The stolen machine is described as a black and grey Polaris Switchback 850,(which is 146” length.) The snowmobile is valued at $20,000.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the RCMP.
