The Association for New Canadians is hosting a celebration of Black History Month this Thursday at the Emera Innovation Centre.
This year’s theme, which is “Remembering and Celebrating (Aspects of) Black Identity,” features a panel discussion, creative art performances and a digital collage of interviews from black newcomers.
Thursday’s guest lecture will be presented by Dr. Ruth Murambadoro of Memorial University.
