The RCMP say they have received new information about a possible sighting of a man reported missing last year.
Thirty-eight-year-old Justin Cormier was last seen last May 15.
Now, a witness has reported a potential sighting of the man at Tony’s Lounge in Clarenville late last June or early July.
The witness saw the same person a few days later outside the Irving on the TCH in Clarenville.
They described the man as having a scruffy beard, and that he was carrying a black backpack. Cormier was last seen wearing a white shirt, a zip-up jacket and dark colored shorts.
Police believe Cormier may have been looking for a ride to St. John’s.
Although Cormier was living in Caplin Cove at the time of his disappearance, he had previously resided in New Brunswick and had recently worked in Kitimat, British Columbia.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cormier is asked to contact the RCMP
