A man has been arrested and charged following a disturbance in Norris Point on Saturday.
The RCMP were called to a home just after 1 a.m. following reports that a man, who was known to the homeowners, was acting aggressively and causing damage to the property.
Police say the man used his body to damage the police cruiser, after which he had to be taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
As a result of the investigation, the man is also accused of causing damage to an excavator and home in Neddies Harbour the previous day.
Thirty-six-year-old Christopher Bourgeois appeared in court yesterday on two counts each of mischief – damage to property, and mischief over $5,000.
