K-12 students in the metro area will be dismissed two hours early today due to impending weather.
A fast moving system will roll through the Avalon and Burin Peninsulas this afternoon, bringing about 10 cm of snow before changing to rain.
Meteorologist Rob Carroll at the Gander Weather Office says it’ll be messy on the roads throughout the afternoon.
He says things will intensify around lunchtime before changing to rain later this afternoon.
