A woman has been arrested and charged following an assault at a home in Bay Bulls.

RCMP were called to the home just before 1:30 Tuesday afternoon.

The victim told police that a woman, who was known to them, struck them several times resulting in minor injuries.

Fifty-three-year-old Wanda Caines has been charged with two counts of assault. She appeared in court yesterday.
