It’s crunch time at the Montana’s Brier with the top rinks vying for the championship beginning this afternoon at the Mary Brown’s Centre.

Brad Gushue squares off against Matt Dunstone while Brad Jacobs is up against Kevin Koe. The two rinks that come up short have a double life.

Eugene Trickett, co-chair of the organizing committee, says it has been an amazing few days from many standpoints. He told Your VOCM Mornings that just watching volunteers and interacting with everyone has been a positive experience.

He says the volunteers are out around enjoying the matches and interacting with the players.

Round two of the playoffs goes tonight at 7:30.
