The Labrador Winter Games open today in Happy Valley-Goose Bay at the E.J. Broomfield Arena.
The games, which feature a mix of traditional skills and more broadly familiar sports, runs through to Saturday, March 14th.
Events include the Labrathon, snowshoe racing, biathlon, target shooting and the ever-popular Northern Games.
The minister of Labrador and Indigenous Affairs, Lela Evans, officially opens the games this evening.
