The Spaniard’s Bay/Tilton Volunteer Fire Department was able to knock down a fire in a commercial building on the Main Highway in Spaniard’s Bay last night.
Crews were met with significant smoke and fire in the attic of the structure which houses Precision Tae Kwon Do.
The fire department was helped at the scene by the Bay Roberts Fire Department, paramedics, Newfoundland Power and the RCMP.
Smoke and water damage was extensive.
Precision Tae Kwon Do is now seeking another practice space for its members and athletes.
