Kent Building Supplies is celebrating its 50th anniversary in business by giving back to the community.

The company has launched the Golden Giveaway Challenge with ten charities across the Atlantic region in the running for a gift of $50,000.

Among them are The Gathering Place, the SPCA of Newfoundland and Labrador, and The Salvation Army.

The senior manager with Kent, Connie Rosebush, says they’re inviting the public to vote online for the charity of their choice.

“One of these organizations is going to win the $50,000 prize which would make a sizeable impact, we hope, to one of these organizations.”
