A number of contraband items, including several different types of drugs, have been seized at a maximum security prison in New Brunswick, which houses several inmates from this province.

The package was seized at the Atlantic Institution on Sunday.

Correction Services Canada says the package contained steroids, cocaine, methamphetamine, brew, cell phones and accessories, and UBS keys.

The institutional value of the items is estimated to be over $110,000.
