Two people are facing a drug trafficking charge after a traffic stop in western Newfoundland.
Officers with the RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation West stopped the car near Deer Lake last Wednesday.
A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, cash and several edged weapons.
Forty-four-year-old Bert Gosney and 38-year-old Krystal Lee White of Deer Lake each face a single charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The two will appear in court in September.
