A variety show fundraiser is taking place over the next two nights in support of the Home Again Furniture Bank.

That organization collects gently used furniture, such as a bed or a couch, and brings them to people in need.

The fundraiser, which is taking place at the Barbara Ashley School of Dance on Brookfield Road, will feature a mixture of singers, dancers, and other artists.

Owner and namesake Barbara Ashley calls it “amazing” to see so many artists taking time out to participate in their show.

She says the first year they did the show, they raised $1,200 in one night. The next year, they had so much interest they were able to have 16 performers per night.

The event is taking place tonight at 7 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
