Former MP, provincial and federal cabinet minister, and Lieutenant Governor Judy Foote is back home convalescing after a lengthy period in hospital.
Foote revealed via Facebook that she spent nine weeks in hospital and the Miller Centre recovering from her third stroke.
She says her left side is affected, and says she remains hopeful that healing will come with time.
Foote has suffered a number of health challenges in recent years, including two previous battles with breast cancer.
