The provincial government has announced 10 new appointments to the King’s Counsel – including the current justice minister
The honourary title recognizes senior lawyers who have served for at least 10 years as a member of the bar, for their body of work.
This year’s list includes current justice minister Helen Conway-Ottenheimer.
The appointments are made by the Lieutenant Governor after consultation with the Legal Appointments Board
Other appointees include; Richard Collins, John C. Crosbie, Herbert Edwards, James Goudie, John Hartery, Karen O’Reilly, Deanne Penney, Gerrie Smith, and David Williams.
