We’re still a couple of days out from what many like to bill as the province’s largest garden party but early indications are that Mother Nature will not cooperate – at least in terms of the spectator experience.

Environment Canada is calling for warm temperatures, showers, and considerable wind Tuesday night at pondside.
The showers will continue on Wednesday, but drying up for Thursday and Friday with the mercury in the twenties. There is no bead on wind conditions for Wednesday yet, as that is one of the key factors when it comes to rowing.
Regatta President Keith White says sometimes the decision is easy, sometimes not so much.
“The 50-member committee simply puts it to a vote but we take many meteorological factors into account,” says White.
