A man driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle which was involved in a crash on the Burin Peninsula has been ticketed accordingly.

The accident happened Wednesday night between Salmonier and St. Lawrence. Officers say the vehicle, which had gone off the road, had incurred significant damage.

RCMP say a 29-year-old man from St. Lawrence had injuries, but nothing of a life-threatening nature.
