The RCMP are seeking the public’s help identifying a suspect following a break-in at a cabin outside Lewisporte.
Police were called just before 6 a.m. last Tuesday to a cabin off the Newfoundland T’Railway, just west of the Road to the Isles.
No one was in the area, but the owner was alerted to the break-in by their security system, and was able to capture the suspect on video.
Both the main building and shed were broken into, with damage caused to both structures.
Several items, including a power tool and alcohol, were taken.
The suspect, who was wearing a Reebok hoodie and dark coloured pants, was carrying a flashlight.
