A 35-year-old man from Happy Valley-Goose Bay was charged with impaired after the vehicle he was driving left the Trans Labrador Highway Saturday night.
RCMP attended the crash site shortly after 10:00 p.m. and while the driver did not appear to be injured, police say he did show signs of impairment.
He was arrested and taken to the detachment where breath samples were collected that were more than 2 and a half times the legal limit.
His licence was suspended and his vehicle was seized and impounded.
He’s scheduled to appear in court in November on impaired driving charges.
