Two great white sharks are continuing to swim the Gulf of St. Lawrence off the coast of Newfoundland.

A number of great white sharks, outfitted with responders, are being monitored by U.S.-based research group, Ocearch.

Quint, a 9 foot male, has done a lot of traveling in recent weeks, having rounded the tip of the Great Northern Peninsula, making his way all the way down into White Bay as far as Jackson’s Arm, before heading back to the Strait of Belle Isle and into the Gulf of St. Lawrence.

He pinged just north of the Iles de la Madeleine yesterday.

Meanwhile, Webster, a 10 foot male, appears to be taking a much more leisurely pace. He pinged off Portland Creek as recently as Monday.
