A 39-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a daylight armed robbery in the capital city’s east end.

RNC say a man, weapon in hand, entered the Orangestore on Tailwind Drive near the airport at 10:00 yesterday morning, and demanded cigarettes and lotto tickets before running from the scene.

There were no injuries.

Ryan Goulding was arrested within minutes and held to appear in court on charges of armed robbery, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and three counts of uttering threats.
