Construction begins this month on a project to reduce erosion in a community on the west coast.
The federal government is spending $300,000 on a new trail and amenities between Pasadena Point and South Brook Beach. The trail will offer views of Deer Lake and include armour stone to protect over 75 metres of shoreline from erosion.
Cabinet minister Joanne Thompson says the shoreline along Glide Path Road is an important part of the community in Pasadena.
