A VOCM Cares Radiothon today in support of the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre Foundation has raised over $72,000.
The radiothon was to help raise funds for a new CT scanner for the hospital – which is estimated to cost between $1-million and $1.5-million.
The foundation is currently in year two of their fundraising campaign – which is expected to take between 3 and 5 years in total.
The radiothon was on the air until earlier this afternoon, and the foundation is continuing the push with a Facebook live event that will run until 6 p.m.
