The RCMP is investigating damage caused to helicopters at the Nain Airport earlier today.
Police were contacted about tampering and damage caused to two helicopters at the airstrip on Middlepath Road.
The two aircraft had landed in Nain just before 6:30 this morning. The pilots noticed damage to both helicopters around 8:30 a.m. and contacted police.

Both machines will undergo inspection before they are able to fly.
