The Newfoundland Regiment scored early and often to blow out the Halifax Mooseheads 6-0 in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League at the Mary Brown’s Centre last night.

They lead 4-0 after the 1st and 5-0 after the 2nd, outshooting the visitors 27-25.

Matthew Frost and Alexis Michaud each cored twice for the winners while Newfoundlander Ben Veitch and Tyson Goguen added singles. Goaltender Antoine Proulx stopped everything the Mooseheads threw at him.

The Newfoundland Regiment plays its third consecutive series at home next weekend.
