Most provincial and municipal government buildings will be closed today in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
In St. John’s, most city offices and facilities will be closed, and including all rec centres.
Garbage collection, however, is going ahead, and Robin Hood Bay will be open.
The city’s paid parking regulations will still be in effect as it is not a shops closing day.
