A man has been arrested and charged with breaching the Family Violence Protection Act following an incident that lead police to two homes in the metro region.
The RNC were called to a home in downtown St. John’s around 10:30 yesterday morning, and the investigation eventually lead them to a second residence in Torbay.
There, a 28-year-old man was arrested for breaching an emergency protection order.
The accused was brought to provincial court where he was charged with two counts of breaching the Family Violence Protection Act.
