RCMP on the Burin Peninsula are investigating a suspicious car fire on Marine Drive in Marystown early Tuesday morning.
RCMP say they were called to the scene after someone heard an “explosion” in the area just prior to finding the vehicle in flame.
The Marystown Fire Department was quick to the scene to douse the fire.
The 2018 Infiniti Q50 was parked at the scene the previous day with a flat tire.
The exact cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
