After weeks of political posturing, the House of Assembly has passed the contentious interim supply bill.
The bill is actually an amended version of the original proposal put forth by the minority Liberal government which had sought a three-month supply.
The amended bill gives the government two months of additional supply, which Opposition members have insisted will be enough to bridge the gap between now and when the budget is tabled and expected to be passed.
Liberal Government House Leader Steve Crocker confirmed passage of the bill, adding the House will now adjourn until September 30 when the budget will be brought down.
