ATV sales in the province have seen a surge since the pandemic began.
The president of the Provincial T’Railway Council, Rick Noseworthy, says ATVs have always been popular in Newfoundland and Labrador and that popularity continues to grow.
Noseworthy says it’s been a very busy year.
He estimates there are more than 50,000 ATVs in the province today, while sales this year alone have increased by 147 per cent. He credits the pandemic and staycations for the phenomenon.
