A man was rushed to hospital with undetermined but apparently serious injuries following a violent incident on Spencer Street this morning.
People heard a man screaming in the centre city area during daylight hours this morning just before he collapsed in the street. A trail of blood can be seen along Spencer Street, which is totally blocked off.
Police cars descended on the area and officers remain on scene. A man was rushed off to hospital with undetermined injuries. People who live in the area believed it to be a stabbing.

Cst. James Cadigan says the incident happened at about 9:30.
People in the area say it is becoming a very dangerous place to live. A woman who was interviewed by VOCM’s Gerri Lynn Mackey says she heard screams, which are not uncommon in the area.
