Talks between Unifor and Loblaw have broken off.
The striking Dominion workers have now been on the picket lines for 10 weeks.

Loblaw agreed to come back to the table on Wednesday. However, the lead negotiator with Unifor, Chris Macdonald, says the position of the company didn’t change much.
He says the company came back with some options for a longer-term deal, but contends that they “never moved one inch” and failed to address the concerns they have been striking for.
Macdonald says the two sides ended up in a stalemate, and from the union’s perspective agreement was not going to be possible.
