The Bay Roberts Retirement Centre is offering no further comment on troubling alleged criminal activity involving a staff member who was apparently passing himself off as an LPN.
Christopher Power of Brigus is facing numerous charges, including sexual assault against a resident following an alleged incident at the Bay Roberts Retirement Centre back in August.
Power was arrested at the time, and charges against him were laid last week.
They include sexual assault, two counts of uttering forged documents, three counts of falsifying documents, and one count of using the title of Licensed Practical Nurse when not qualified to do so.
A spokesperson for the company says as the case will appear before the courts, they are unable to provide any comment at this time.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Harbour Grace provincial court on November 18.
