Members of the Royal Canadian Airforce will be conducting flybys across Canada tomorrow to mark Remembrance Day, including one in this province.
This year, the government is encouraging residents to observe Remembrance Day at a distance as most ceremonies across the country have either been cancelled or will be held privately.
The airforce will by flying a CH-149 Cormorant over St. John’s to mark the occasion.
A specific time for the flyby has not yet been announced, and the flybys are weather dependant.
According to Environment Canada, a mix of sun and cloud and wind gusts of 40 are expected in the morning, with those winds dropping off to light in the afternoon.
